BETTERGY’S ACTIONS
Bettergy is working in the 16 centers they currently have.
The first of the actions that have been carried out has been a real-time monitoring of the consumption of each of the centers.
What cannot be measured, cannot be improved, and in this spirit, Residencias Seniors will be able to:
- Keep a real-time control of their consumption, allowing, through a series of alerts, the detection of inefficiencies and consumption outside working hours in order to improve it.
- Validate consumption billed by the energy trading company.
- Obtaining data and consumption profiles quickly and easily in order to analyze them in order to obtain new energy saving measures.
Then, and according to the European Directives 27/2012/EU, and the RD 56/2016, an Energy Audit has been carried out with the highest quality standards, which will allow you to establish a roadmap towards savings and continuous improvement.
RESULTS
The audit has been completed with an energy analysis in all the facilities that Residencias Seniors has, through our digital platform EnergySequence, which has reduced time and costs, in addition to improving the results of the audit.
By performing these audits, Bettergy has quantified the energy consumption, making a disaggregation both by energy source and by type of consumer element.
Based on this information, the cost and emissions associated with such consumption have been quantified.In addition, a study of the inventory and the current state of the energy consuming installations of all the centers has been carried out.
All this information will be used by Residencias Seniors as a starting point for continuous monitoring of consumption and for making decisions on actions to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.
Another of the actions carried out by Bettergy has been the unification of electricity contracts with a 100% renewable energy guarantee for all the Senior Residences centers.
Through this action, the energy consumed in Residencias Seniors will be supplied from renewable sources, reducing to 0 the emissions associated with electricity consumption.
Through this action, Residencias Seniors will obtain savings of €67,660 per year.
