EMAYA is a public company, with 100% municipal capital, owned by the City Council of Palma.
Its function is to manage the public services provided to citizens related to the integral water cycle, the selective collection of solid urban waste and street cleaning, ensuring maximum quality and efficiency, within a framework of sustainability.
The project aims at the execution of the Installation of Electric Vehicle Recharging Points in different centers. The centers are:
- Son Pacs outdoor enclosure: 26 RVE points.
- Son Pacs subway parking: 34 RVE points.
- Joan Maragall subway parking: 4 RVE points.
- Son Tugores outdoor enclosure: 4 RVE points.
- EDAR 1 outdoor enclosure: 4 RVE points.
- Verge de Monserrat outdoor enclosure: 8 RVE points.
The purpose of the project is on the one hand the reduction of polluting emissions, as well as the reduction of the company’s electricity costs. The purpose of the proposed installation is to enable the recharging of the EV fleet.
A charging infrastructure with charging mode 3 is proposed. The system must also allow full integration with the OCPP 1.6 protocol, which will allow proper power management in each installation.
For Bettergy, the installation of this type of infrastructure is part of its strategy to change the energy model, as a growth vector for the coming years.
Thanks to the installation of these recharging points Emaya has obtained the following results:
Bettergy continues its development work in these projects, betting on a complete turnkey integration for its customers, supplying and installing the equipment, providing its expertise in energy project engineering, and at the same time managing the different available subsidies.
